Red light therapy is one of the most effective natural skin treatments available. Used by skin professionals around the world and scientifically backed by many peer-reviewed studies. Red light therapy has demonstrated how it reduces inflammation & wrinkles, and heals & rejuvenates skin, for an overall healthy, younger look.
More natural collagen. As we age our bodies produce less of the major proteins called collagen and elastin. It's these proteins that are responsible in supporting our skin structure and giving it, it’s bounce and firmness. The decrease in collagen results in a visibly thinning and ageing appearance. Red light has the ability to naturally stimulate your own production of collagen, increasing collagen density, which makes this therapy a potent contender in helping maintain youthful skin.
Combats acne bacteria and inflammation. Red light therapy alleviates inflammation by increasing blood flow to the damaged tissues. This natural anti-inflammatory effect of red light therapy, is a key to its skin rejuvenating and appearance-improving effects. Because of the ability of red light to reduce inflammation while increasing blood flow, this type of therapy is commonly used to treat acne. The use of both blue and red light therapy is beneficial to destroy acne-causing bacteria while reducing the size of the sebaceous glands and thereby reducing oil.
Since red light therapy can improve circulation and boost collagen production, it can also assist in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It can tighten the skin while also improving tone and shrinking pores.
Diminishes discolouration. Red light reduces unwanted marks on the skin, can be used to lighten age spots, improve sun damage and even minimize scars by promoting the repair and healing of tissue.
Helps with eczema and psoriasis. Red light therapy can reduce inflammation levels which lessens the pain and itching associated with skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. It can help with healing and can also prevent future symptoms from flaring up again.
Red light therapy is a wonderful asset for you to improve the overall appearance of your skin, to naturally promote glowing, clear and youthful complexion.
Treatment tip for acne, eczema and psoriasis. Use Blue light for 10 minutes and Red Light for 10 minutes. Use daily or for a minimum of 3 times per week.
How often should I use my light therapy mask? For starters, we recommend using light therapy three to five times per week for 10 to 20 minutes. With time, you may work your way up to daily use for a maximum of 20 minutes per day, per session.
Consistency is key. It may take time to start noticing results, so it's important to stick with it. Results can be incremental so you may not notice the improvements as they happen but better to compare yourself before and after a period of time.
